Sanism is everywhere but rarely talked about, in particular in therapy and science. This is why Lea Jungmann and I are doing this workshop for Disruption Network Lab at 19 October 2022. It‘s also a warming up for the upcoming conference MADNESS: Fighting for justice in mental health.

Sanism is everywhere but rarely talked about, in particular in therapy and science. Feminist therapy and Open Science are currently challenging these discriminating practices. They question hierarchical structures, include realities of multiply marginalized, and aim for Knowledge Equity. In their nature they both are intersectional, community-based, and collaborative. The workshop will serve as a think tank. After a brief intro we want to collaboratively develop strategies towards a neurodiverse feminist utopia. Please bring your experiences.

The workshop is open to everyone who is familiar with therapy and science – professional and/or personal.
