Prof. Dr. Kerstin Schoch (@kunsthochzwei) is a Berlin based artist, art therapist, and psychologist. Since 2022 they hold a professorship of Intermedial Art Therapy at the Campus Arts and Social Change at Medical School Hamburg – University of Applied Sciences and Medical University. They are accustomed to thinking and working in a post-disciplinary, power-critical, decolonial, and intersectional way – including unconventional and creative solutions. They were a mentor with a focus on Knowledge Equity in the Open Science Fellows Program of Wikimedia Germany, Volkswagen Foundation, and Stifterverband, and for re•shape of Wikimedia Germany and neue deutsche organisationen – das postmigrantische netzwerk. They co-founded the Pop-up Institute, which promotes Science Communication through Arts Therapies. It works in a radically collaborative, participatory, and process-oriented manner, combats ableism with arts and knowledge, and has been funded by the Volkswagen Foundation and the Eckhard Busch Foundation.
